The best coves near Sóller to discover by car
If you are staying in the centre of Sóller, one of the best ways to discover the north coast of Mallorca is to drive along its coves. In less than an hour you can reach some of the most spectacular beaches on the island: crystal clear waters, landscapes of the Serra de Tramuntana and much quieter spots than the tourist areas in the south.

1.Cala Deià - the most famous cove in the Tramuntana mountains
Just 20 minutes drive from Sóller, Cala Deià is probably the most famous cove in the Serra de Tramuntana. Small, surrounded by rocks and Mediterranean vegetation, it has a very special atmosphere.

2.Sa Calobra - one of the most impressive roads in Mallorca
Getting to Sa Calobra is already part of the experience. The road winds through the mountains and offers some of the most breathtaking views in Mallorca. If you are prone to car sickness we do not recommend this option.The beach is located next to the famous Torrent de Pareis, a spectacular natural canyon that flows into the sea.

If you are looking for a quieter and less crowded cove, Cala Tuent is one of the best options near Sóller.
Surrounded by mountains and pine trees, it has a much more relaxed atmosphere than other popular beaches in Mallorca.

4.Port de Sóller - the most convenient option close to the hotel
Less than 10 minutes from the centre of Sóller, the beach of Port de Sóller is perfect if you prefer a comfortable and accessible option. The beach is divided into two parts: Playa den Repic and Playa del Pto de Sóller. On the first beach it is easier to park if you arrive early as there is a car park before you reach the beach.

5.Cala Banyalbufar - a lesser known gem

Tips for visiting the coves near Sóller:
Wear comfortable shoes: even clogs, many coves in the Tramuntana have rocky areas.
Avoid the middle of the day: in summer it is best to arrive before 10:00.Park in good time (especially in Cala Deià and Sa Calobra).
Make the most of the car: from Sóller you can visit several coves on the same route.
